Anyone been out for the evening/night bite yet this year?

It has been very tough to make it out fishing this year. my fishing partners and myself are all able to get out on Saturday evening/night about 7pm. So I figured I would ask if anyone is having any luck with the night fishing? Thanks as always!

It can be good.......or not.  I have caught plenty of kings well after dark.  With that being said - a proper full moon is probably your best bet.

I haven't been out night fishing this year but I have in the past and as Jeff said full moon is best. Days up to and during a full moon with full glow moonshine spoons work very well for me. Also keep in mind at night less is more, too many rods and without being able to see all your lines a big king can make a mess out of a spread of boards when you don't know where its going! Personally the discouraging part is that not many people do it so there isn't many reports but it can be very successful.
Not to ramble on but my best night came while fishing offshore near the state line with a very light north wind. Known for going down when the sun does , I fell asleep at the tiller shortly after sunset only to be awoken by the clicker for fish-on excitement. I'd reset the line after landing the fish and eventually doze back off. Went on like that til I got my limit by midnight.
