Will be out of Portage this afternoon.  Give me a holler on 68 for “Onesy Twosy” - gray Tracker with trees running way too many rods.  Planning on starting east of the port and moving toward MC.  Report to follow...

Well we had waves coming over the breakwall as we came out and decided to give it some time since the wind was supposed to die down a tad.  It was about 6 until it was safe enough.  Big swells, but no whitecaps and not choppy.  Never took a wave over the bow.  Fished in front of the port and ended 1/2 with only a coho to show for it and the other one likely being a laker while we were letting out the 200 copper. Overall it was nice to scrap something out of it- hate to go home but it ain’t worth a life out there in the cold water.

Wind ruined our plans last night too. Weekend isn't looking too great either.

Glad you got out and caught fish. But being safe is most important, everyone always needs to respect the Great Lakes. It's been a very wind spring.
