I heard a lot of people struggling to get bites Friday on the radio. Fish definitely moved from Thursday.

I will add that Friday was slow up in St Joe as well, and there is also a ton of bait up here, though it's mostly concentrated at the pier heads.

I'm thankful for the water temps you all posted. The satellite image from MSU is way off. First of all, there was not a cloud in the sky at the time this image was taken. Second, it looks like the warmest water on the south end should be around portage.

Am I missing something?

Steve those temps on satellite are most likely wrong. Probably reading the cloud temps or something. Lake is warming up but I wouldn't think 6-7 degrees in a day.

I would say surface temp change like that is possible.  A foot down, drastically different story more than likely.  I did run out quick today to test my boat (fail) but I did not look at surface temps.  Either way, surface temps may be some sort of general guideline, but in the grand scheme dont mean shit.  Whats happening down a little deeper means a whole lot more.
Boatless!
