Had a chance to finally get out a few times this weekend. Fished sunset Thursday, 2/3 laker and king. Sunday sunrise 2/3 laker and coho. Monday sunrise 1/2 laker. Beautiful weather, lots of bait, water temps 48-50. Not sure where the fish are, we were just out short trips and didn’t go farther west than Mt Baldy or east of the stateline. Would have expected better results for the conditions, but nice to be out non the less. I think it’s going to be shrimp and bobbers or a kayak and crankbaits for the next few trips. Steelies can’t be far off and the salmon bite definitely isn’t worth the effort for me to mess around with the boat and all the gear.

Thanks for the report, it sure seems weird having all the bait and temp but low number of fish around. Steelies are close I bet also. It is always nice to get out but it seems fish for lakers and hope for some silver along the way, which is different than the past few years for this time.
