With the lake calm my buddy and I took advantage and took the kids out trolling. Set up south of the piers aways in 100 feet, marked a decent amount between 95 and 110, which is the only area we fished since we only had a couple hours before the kids had to head in for nap. Went 2/2 with a PR steelhead (33 inches and 15 pounds) on a 7 color with a mag moonshine RV watermelon, and a small laker on a rigger down 90 on a spoon, forget which

Kids had a blast and took turns trying to reel the fish in, although the steelhead fight was so long that after awhile they got bored until it was time to net it

Oh and forgot, didn't mark much for bait at all, but the steelhead was packed with alewife of various sizes, plus a bird feather.  Lake trout stomach was empty

Nice fish!  Caught one around 10 lbs on Saturday that had a whole bird and about a thousand flies in it.  Bird was pretty well digested, but bones and feathers were intact.  Surprised it was able to catch a bird with a relatively small mouth.
