TOPIC:

Set lines about 10:15 am, went north of the Gong and started setting at about 70 ft .Ran the state line to 90.  My spread was 2 riggers low with Spin dr and spin n glows on the bottom looking for lakers, dipsys on one setting running 35 ft with blue dolphin and green dolphin  and  three setting dipsys at about 15-20 ft running dodger and flasher fly. Went 6 for 10 with 2 coming unbuttoned right at the boat. 5 coho and one small 5 lb laker. Laker came on green dolphin, biggest coho on blue dolphin, rest on dodger and flasher fly. Nothing on the riggers, was hoping for some big lakers for the smoker.The flys started out only annoying us but then became hungry and feasted. Jeez i really hate them.  All and all fun day, started in around 4pm when it looked like the waves started white capping.

Thanks for the report, good to know there's still some silver not too far from EC. I know the charters have been hammering cohos but I'm assuming they are going 20+ miles north.
