TOPIC:

Ran offshore to try to find the silver fish. Headed NW to 135 ft and trolled to 165 ft. Quick bite on a spoon down 65 ft. on rigger was a small King - legal keeper but in good shape so it was released to grow up. Hit #2 came on rigger down 55 ft. on spoon again - a nice Coho. Hit #3 on same rigger and spoon down 55ft. was another big Coho. Then the rigger down 65 went off again, but this time the fish came off on the surface as I reached for the net - another Coho I. I thought this is going to be good -  then it just died for me - no more bites .Circled back thru the productive area again but nada and then moved on .All of my hits were on magnum spoons down 55 - 65 ft. Nothing on the deep rod - no hits on flasher / fly or spin dr. / fly setups and no Lakers. I had to quit @ 8 pm so I missed some prime time, I hate to quit early, but I hadn't had any action for awhile and still didn't get home until late.@ 52-54 west and @ 54-55 north FYI
