A little out of the usual range but just wanted to let others know fishing was fantastic over at the R4 on Friday. Went across on Thursday to Belmont harbor, saw the guns n roses concert, then Friday morning took some work people out. 12 miles up to the R4 and from 7:30 to 1 went about 7 for 10 with a mixed bag of steelies, coho, Laker, and one small King. Steelies were aggressive and we had one break the line and snubber on a dipsey. All on spoons on down riggers, dipseys, and a slide diver. Missed one on a fly. Working the east side of the reef from 80 to 100'. Good times!
Also wanted to thank the guy on my dock (can't remember his name) that told me to use 12' leader on the dipseys. I was using only 5 footers and wow what a difference.
