L train, just start with saying I don’t consider myself a very good fisherman, somewhere in the middle so take it as just my two cents I guess. I  Just go off of everything I’ve read/watched/listened to and  learned from guys on this site and time on the water. Some guys might read this that know better than me and think that guy doesn’t have a clue! Lol Typically this time of year when the kings start to show up, we’re fishing 60ish FOW. Riggers are down somewhere close to the bottom and work your way up from there on both sides to make a V. On our boat, running a 12 rod spread, it would go rigger, deep diver, high diver, 200 copper , 150 copper , and then maybe a two or 3 color as a basic starting point.obviously that changes some in a tournament that only allows you to run 9 rods but it’s some variation of that. let the fish tell you what they want from there and make your adjustments accordingly. Another thing you hear a lot of people who know way more about salmon fishing then I do say is, run what you know works for you or what your confident in.Get your A team.  We’re confident running spoons, it seems to work for our boat. Whatever rods you have to put a spoon in the top 20 FOW will probably produce some coho for you. We took fish on sliders, high dipseys running around 15 to 20 Down but the standout rod was the two color out on the outside. Sure you’ve heard it before but I think if you get a bait in front of these hungry spring coho there going to eat it, regardless if it’s a body bait, spoon, or peanut fly. Again just my two cents, hope that’s helpful one way or another for ya or anyone else still beginning. Tight lines!!

Trying to get it ready for fishing, been tough with the world the way it is right now. Ordered Traxtech back in Sept, last pieces are in the final stage of being ready. Auto pilot going in sometime this week. Hopefully make it in the water in time for the tourny if not I'll be a free agent. lol
