Fished solo out of Hammond  just north of steel mill.1 brown 4 coho  all caught on brads thin fin fire sqiggle & gold behind boards.fished 11 am finished around 1 .full of what looked like smelt ,

Nice eating size fish.  Smelt in them.........figures just threw away the smelt nets that have been in the garage attic for the last 30+ years.

Baitfish could also be spottail and sand shiners - millions of them around. Saw a pic yesterday of a coho that had a bunch of spottails in them. Similar body shape to smelt, especially after they are half-digested it can be hard to tell

Either way good to hear they are getting on some bait
