Better late then never, got out Sunday for first trip of the year. Launched at Portage and headed to Gary Light. 3 man crew lines in the water around 8am trolled from East side to Gary light picked up 3 spread out but mainly further east. Turned back and hit a triple close to our first spot. Spent the rest of the day trolling that area. Went 15-20 back at the dock by 1:30pm 13 coho 2 steelhead. Had two triples and several doubles, once we were on the spot it was fast and furious. Pretty much everything we had out were hitting, 70-100' back seemed most productive. Thinfish, Flicker shad and Rapalas where the baits we had out, orange, red, green and gold. Picked up two on the rigger 15' down with orange dodger and fly. No takers on deep rigger with a spoons. 45fow 2.5-2.7 water temp was around 41f. Was great to get out and fish again!!
Tight lines!!
