Friday morning we launched at 6 am out of Hammond and trolled the Whiting lakefront area south of the ship canal going 8/12.  Body baits, D/F’s, and spoons were all hitting.  Fish were some of the biggest I’ve seen this year.

Today we launched at 7:30 this morning at EC to get some shelter from the NW winds.  It was much slower than yesterday but scratched a couple going 6/6 w/ a 7 lb brown.  Couldn’t buy a bite on D/F’s but the spoons and body baits were hitting.  The brown hit a mag double tangerine gold spoon on a 100 copper and got to swim another day.  Speed both days was 2.2-2.8 gps.

Way to go. Nice looking brown.
