Fished out of Michigan City and ended up going 3/4 with 2 steelies and a coho. Caught a nice 9 lbs steelie on a baby orange spin doctor with green/black fly, the other smaller steelie came on a red black squiggle thin fish, and the coho came on a fire tiger thin fish. Started out the day fishing mainly 40-60 feet of water with 4/8 poles looking for a king. Caught the 9 lbs steelie in 55 feet and the other two fish came in 45 feet. After a few hours of no kings/lakers and almost zero marks we decided to switch to all coho polls went shallow, to which we found no coho in shallow.

Thanks for the report. We fished MC Friday with opposite results: nothing out in 50 but found a few coho in shallow on the beach. Need baitfish to move in ASAP.
