Started north of portage just short of the state line and worked my way north west towards the 3 corners area. Fished the 3 corners area pretty heavy mostly working an east/west west/east troll. North/south and vice versa did nothing for us. Took 8, 12, and 16lb lakers, the 12lb on the rigger with a moonshine flasher and fly in green jeans and the 8 and 16 on a mag spoon on a 200 cu. Also managed 3 coho, 2 on spoons and the 3rd on a dodger fly. Rigger with the spoon and slider was never touched, as well as my dipsys.

My son and I were out yesterday in the same area.. couldn't get anything going .... we tried depths of 60 - 65 ft also crossed into michigan and tried 70 - 85 ft.  Marked some nice baitballs.   Tried body baits, spoons and dodger and flies .... Had a great time with my son but unfortunately no fish .... maybe next time ....

For alot of us yesterday was very tough.  Seems Triple Catch had the spot though as he certainly had a great day chartering.

We started in the 18's in 70 FOW.  No bites for the first hour, then doubled up on kings.  Lost them both.  Proceeded to work out to 105 then back into 70.  Ended up the day 3 for 5 - yuck.  Not sure why, but we didnt have a single trout bite which was rather odd.
Boatless!
