My wife and I went out and set up south of state line. Went 8 for 11 all on dodger fly. No hits on long lines. Started at 6 pulled at 8 wished we could of stayed longer fish were aggressive. Had to perform surgery to get a 4 inch fly back. size o dodger was better then oo

Great job. Funny how things shift throughout the day, we were out from 11-2 for a quick afternoon troll, and they would only hit spoons.

BTW,,,, not sure what you guys that fished yesterday morning found in your fish stomach's,,,,,,,, last nights fish were empty.
Alot of bait around, but these guys had fully digested stomachs.

Even more interesting, mine were pretty darn full still.

I also didn't have a single fish hooked in their mouth. All looked like they had hit out of pure agression, and not hunger. Hooked one through the gill plate, a few under jaw, and one right below his eye. Another boat on the radio in the area was 2/11, mostly just drive by's.

Went back to the same area to fish again. What a change. Water was almost 3 degrees warmer down at the bottom in 60ft. Fish were there along with the bait but they we not as aggressive. Over the next few hour we watched the bait dry up to almost nothing. By 8 last night the big bait balls were gone just little streaks of bait here and there. Now we were only fish 6 rods. 2 dipsey's and 4 riggers,, so we stayed on top of the fish till they and the bait just seemed to dry up.
