Set lines at 3:00 in 85' north of Portage-and trolled back with the waves. Ran over many (at least 25) bait balls with fish around them, even as far south as 58' of water north of the ditch. Didn't get a sniff till 68' - lost a coho foul hooked 33' down on rigger. Best water for us was 60-65' - most active fish and fish marks- just couldn't get them to go. Circled back over pods many times to no avail. Ended 2 for 3 with a 13lb. king and fat 7.5lb coho, Fish are eating well. Everything on spoons- super slim green on 300' was best. No hits on dodgers/flies. Dipseys were silent. Pulled lines at 7:30- great weather. Time to fire up the smoker in the a.m. Fish-on! Nick.
