We launched out of Portage Saturday morning and headed North. We set up in 65 FOW and trolled North mainly fishing 70-80 FOW. We caught a nice 7lb Coho at 80 feet while turning on a flasher/fly. The next couple hours were spent battling the increasing waves. We   had several misses. We eventually decided to head back to Portage to see if there were any Steelies biting. To my surprise, we caught an 8lb Coho just Northwest of the Donut in 51 FOW on a flasher/fly downrigger set at 31. We were marking a bunch of bait around that area until the rain came. It was a tough day, but any day on the lake beats being at work.
