Setup @ 6:30 pm in 150ft and trolled west to 200 ft. Only one laker bite so I turned back to troll in. Right at dark I hit a King on rigger down 55 with a Moonshine Flounder Pounder. Hit another King right away on Moonshine Shelly Snack down 70 . Had another good fish hit while I was engaged and it came unhooked after a good run.
Ended 3/4 with 2 good Kings and a Laker. All of the Kings that I have caught have been unclipped natural fish. The fatty pictured is a male and he was thick!
Trent- the fish where in closer last night with best marks from 130 - 160 ft. I don't think that I will be out tonight so good luck to you if you venture out. Make sure you stay until dark!

That's awesome! I just saw your post! We didn't make it out either. My son works on 4 wheelers. Buy, repair and sell. He had a guy come 4 hours to buy a 4 wheeler so we had to stay home. Sales was more important than fishing.

I'm so glad to see the evening fishing is still producing after 29 years. I cant wait to get out!

That's what my dad and I did. I'd set up in 110 or 120 fow depending on the time so we could troll to 140 turn around and troll towards port. If fishing was good and stopped before getting to 140 we turned around and headed in. We caught fish until we had to stop so we could get home before 11 pm. Sometimes we'd be in 78 fow of water and catching kings and Coho!

I'm very grateful that you post your information! Greatly appreciated!
I'll definitely make a post when we get out!

I know! I'm disabled so I need my sons help. He has been busy this entire season. We've made plans to go and something always comes up. Last week i talked with Cody Ward about going even if my son couldn't and we had it all planned. But my son had to take his girlfriend to the ER first thing in the morning so he wasn't able to move a few things so i could hook the trailer up so I had to cancel. I've ask Cody Ward to go fishing several times this year and something always came up and I had had to cancel.

My brother works with a guy that's a first mate for a guy on lake Erie and hes planning to go with us or myself and my brother too. I'm hoping to get out this Saturday! Might even put the boat in a slip and fish Friday evening Saturday morning and evening and Sunday morning. I'll get there.

Thanks for thinking about me!
