How long will it take the lake to settle down after the big blow today? I plan to get out for the first time this year with a newbie and his son on Sunday. Wondering if it’s worth the trip up from Lafayette.

Cold water calms down a lot faster than warm water in July. You should be fine if the winds switch early tommorow like they are predicting.
