For along time I wondered why we are losing so much river access for fishing.

I just read a story that is disturbing. Trail Creek,,,,DNR has to respond to a fight. A fight were one person struck another person across the face with their fishing rod.

And as you could imagine the talk that occurs after the fact. All the talk about how I conceal carry and wouldn't let that happen to me. Is this really what fall river fishing is turning into???????????????

The trash,,,,, the rippers,,,,,,,, now this!!!        Keep it up and we all will continue to lose fishing spots.

Sad, very sad. This seems to be the way of the world lately.

Social media and the internet. While good and great things, can also be very detrimental imo. Thankfully, I was there in the "good ole days" in the 80's and 90's. Seldom fish the "creeks" any more and am always amazed at what I see when I do.
A simple Facebook search returns many " trout and salmon" groups for NW Indiana, some with thousands of followers.
The way it is

Haven't fished the creeks in years but was always a problem years ago also.  Sad, a lot of the shore access sights a strewn with litter.  Slobs not pigs, pigs don't litter.                                                                                                                                                            KK
