Don't think there's a difference. I use the Torpedo brand.

I've only used Torpedo and have no issues with it. Blood Run stuff is good quality so shop by price or availability, I guess.

Neither place has a wire factory so chances are they are both filling their service spools from the 100,000 foot spools from Acme Wire Company - or perhaps Fung Chow Wire company.
