Flattop and I fished 52-53/ 23-20 65to 90 fow.
Went 4/4 3 coho 1 chinook about 18. All on O dodgers and blue green gold med flies.
Started rough, calmed and then got rough coming in.

What is with the parking restriction-closed the parking along the wall. They told me everyone has to park in the west lot.
Are they trying to shut the trailer boats out?

That's one of the bad things about Hammond Marina - parking rules seem to change each time I go there.

I'm convinced hammond has been trying to drive the trailer boats out since they openned. It only got worse after the first casino boat went in.

I'm not sure what ( or if)  Indiana thinks about public access to the big lake. The only place with quality access is Portage, and the parking there isn't great unless you're there really early. The two facilities in Michigan City are terrible compared to the "old days" when people waited in line to launch at Sprague and Washington Park. I live in Indiana but always buy my ramp pass in Michigan at New Buffalo and St. Joe.

It is really annoying especially when you consider the entire parking lot is empty around the ramps Monday thru Friday but we must par 3 blocks away.
Is Pastrick better? I know we were at one point able to park up from the ramps but I haven't been in many years.
