Took Pikesmith's intel and headed out NW to 110 ft and setup. Riggers down 95 and 110,  braid dipsey out 250. Lots of small Kings around and I had action like springtime Coho. Released several and kept the bleeding fish. I marked alot of bait around 105 ft trolling back in. Lost one giant that almost spooled my reel before escaping at sunset.
I also managed to catch a seagull . It hit a spoon that had released and was on the surface. What a pain in the ...I did manage to get my lure back though.

Great to hear about all the small kings... could be a great couple years coming up, especially if we get another good alewife spawn

It is encouraging. Lots of small Kings and they are fat and healthy looking. I also have caught fish that had alewives in them from different year hatches - both small and large. Looks promising for sure.

I was running size 4 Dreamweaver deep diver on setting 2. According to the chart it s/b running @ 96ft deep at 2.2 on 30 lb Power Pro.

In the resource section of this site there are charts that give you all of that.
