Took my 4 year out in the 14 footer this morning. Ran 6 body baits and trolled the harbor out to the break wall. Went 2-4, landing a brown and a nice chrome steelhead. The 2 we lost were both browns - hard to control a tiller boat and a 4 year old at the same time. He did great though, lasted almost 2 hours which was more than I expected.

Hits were all in the muddy creek water/lighthouse gap. Main lake was 36, creek was 46, and all the hits were in 40-42 degree mixed water. Red squiggle thin fin and gold/red mag lip both took 2 hits

My brother and I hit MC this afternoon- tough wind- but were able to find fish.  Trolled along power plant and inside of the outer break wall.  Temps 36-38.  All coho- thin fins- orange and fire tiger were best.

Thanks for the MC reports. Did either of you use the wash park ramp?

Yes, wide open.  Last week it was iced over and flow ice from NIPSCO out to harbor.  That’s all gone- but out in front of the beach there still a lot of floating ice chunks.  Water level is low, but we had no trouble launching from the left ramp.
