Boated the first king of the year while fishing along the U.S. Steel landfill on 3/27. Even at only 9.6 pounds it gave a good fight on the light rods I use for cohos. The fish hit s red/black squiggle Rattlin' ThinFin. Who said they are only coho-killers? The ThinFins continued to shine, but we caught a few cohos on orange dodgers, darker colored flies - black gold (go Boilers), purple/black (kevorkian) and blue/green/gold.
