Got out after work with a couple friends. Heard good reports in 50-60 feet, and also deeper out in 80+. We started in 70 feet and zig zagged between 65 and 85. Found a colder pocket of water in 65-70 and marked a ton of fish there. With flat calm seas they weren't in a biting mood it seemed. Ended up 3-3, all steelhead. No real pattern - a flatline with a 3.5 inch maglip took one, a 3 color with a warrior flutter spoon in jawbreaker took one, and a 7 color with a mag bloody nose took one. Did see a modest amount of bait as well, although none of the fish had any in their stomachs
Nice night out there with the hazy smoky sunset
