TOPIC:

Hooked the boat up and headed north to find some cold water. After checking the buoys, I bypassed St Joe and drove 20 more miles to give South Haven a shot. Surface temps were @65 degrees and cold water down 30 ft.
I ran 3 riggers - two with sliders. Ended up 4/5, all decent kings with the best one at 13lbs. I lost a King at the net when it hit a downrigger cable and it was @ 10 lbs. Released one small shaker.
 I know it isn't the South end technically but it was a quick trip. Had plenty of flies but very few water fleas. Nice boat launch with plenty parking -$10, only about 5 minutes from the exit and a sweet fish cleaning station.
 The double turnover on the lake has really screwed up the water temps on our end of the pond.

Good going. We are gonna try there this weekend for cold water and something different as well.
