Went out 730am in 130pm. Fished Long Beach water tower to New Buffalo. No hits til 1030. Then legal coho and 2 skamania 6-7 lbs. All fish on jointed red black squiggles th8n fish on 2 color. fishing 37 to 47 water.

I watched the weigh in for the classic yesterday. Amazing scarcity of silver fish. Quite a few good "pro" boats didn't get their 10 fish. Nobody had any trouble finding lakers. They could weigh no more than 5 lakers. I think I may have saw a couple kings throughout. Meanwhile...saw several reports from grand haven and north...fishing is on fire. Go figure

Just my observation that doesn't mean anything. St Joe camera shows the "good" dirty water going north with all these howling southerly winds. The Galien and Trail Creek have been pumping muddy water out with all the heavy rains last couple weeks yet water in front of both harbors fairly clear. Again Southerly winds shoving it up the lake or maybe not?
