Day 1. Made it to the lake from Indianapolis at 8 AM. Headed straight north to 70-80 FOW. A bit slow going due to swells though no chop. Lines down at 8:45. One 10 color lead with 00 Luhr Jenson dodger and 2 color fluoro green spoon, one 200 ft copper with dodger and peanut fly and two snap weighted flat lines on boards down around ~60-70 with orange tiger and fluor red ThinFins. Had to nix my one cheapo downrigger because it stopped working lol. Trolled NE at 2-2.5 mph. Began marking fish in 82 FOW down at 70-75 ft.  Just 4 hits in 100-110 FOW, 1 got off my copper immediately, 2nd was a nice Coho on my lead line that I boated, third was a monster laker on a flat line -orange ThinFin, that took me 20 min to reel in only to lose it boatside while trying to net it (lone fisherman). 4th was a fly by on a flat line. Day 2. O/N at the Country INN then back on the lake at 7 AM (overslept lol).  Didn’t plan to go out farther than 50-60 FOW because the weather called for higher wind speeds after 11 AM but the forecast changed mid-morning, and the lake flattened out so I made it back out to 90-130 FOW ~ noon.  Marked lots of large fish again. Picked up 2 more Coho on my flat lines (no boards this time) again on the orange tiger ThinFin. Beautiful weather both days. Biting flies and gnats were bad but I came prepared. I counted 4 different species of gnats which was crazy and even some crane flies showed up!

Good going. You did pretty good considering the tough bite here locally.
