I haven't been out in a few weeks and would like to get out this week, probably Tuesday. Haven't seen many reports from the south end. I know they're doing pretty good up at Winthrop and I've seen the few reports from NB but what about down here? What depths are working on the south end? Just looking for a place to start. Not opposed to going to Winthrop or NB but would rather stay close to home. TIA for any info.

If I had the option, I would go to Waukegan or further north. If that is not on option then NB.

I’m leaning to going up to NorthPoint

Per the Mich City buoy, the water column is bathwater top to bottom. So you will need to get offshore a bit to find the temp break. To get to that 100-120fow in New Buf, it takes about 7-9mi NW. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. I seen the MC buoy data. 7-9 miles is doable for me in good weather and Tuesday looks good but the reports out of NP are still good and 100 fow isn’t too far out. That being said, I have never fished out of NB.

Winthrop straight east of harbor along Wisconsin line 120fow seems to be the hot spot for past few days. I’d start setting lines in 70fow and work my way out. Coho and steel seem to be in 200+fow good luck, fill the box and be safe out there
