A few salmon in close at Michigan City...

3 for 5, all chinook in 6-8 lb. range, 8 lines in for four hours (7-11am), fished 25-55' from Lighthouse to 2 mi east, 4 of hits in 40', all hits 15-25 down, all spoons (stingers, super slims), only thing hit twice was Wrecking Ball slim on 100' copper.

Some bait schools in 30', 2 of chinook had an alewife in stomach.

Stayed around harbor due to seeing boat with 6 fish (including a 14 lb king) at cleaning station previous day (they fished 10-4). Another boat fishing near shore had 3 today (a chinook, coho and laker).

Bait and fish, especially kings in shallow during the spring? This must be a fake post! Jk jk thanks for posting! Ill be out st joe thur morning might try shallow now will let you guys know.
