If costs are a concern Sufix markets a standard dacron leadcore 27# line that performs very well. At the Bass Pro at Portage I went in and bought 2 spools at about $18.00 /spool. The 832 lead was pushing near 40 bucks per. Why am I telling this? I left 2 sections of the same line in the rocks near the # 4 when a rigger ball wedged in the rocks last time I had my boat out. It would have hurt a lot more if I had lost the dyneema braided lead along with the spoons. It happens.
You can find it on line at times for 12 to 14 bucks per spool if you hunt around.
