www.bend-able.com/

I came across these a bit ago and wondered if they'd be good for a way to store spare rigging for trolling flies. Say a hook gets bent or you want to change to a different length behind a flasher, this lets you have spares at the ready in some sort of organized fashion.

Singles are VMC 7556 Spark Point Treble Hooks - sizes 2 and 4. Tournament rigs are VMC 7556 Spark Point Treble Hooks size 1 and 2 with Gamakatsu Octopus Hooks that match the tip to shank gap size of the trebles. All tied with 50 lb Seaguar STS Salmon Fluorocarbon Leader. I kept the bead colors on the tournament rigs basic; Mr. Derk's Tackle UV Diamond Beads, 8mm - Carbon and Clear. I figured that way they would work with just about any fly skirt.

I'm a fan so far. What do you guys think?

Well it's got to be better than keeping them rolled up so when you put them out & they look like a coil spring. I think you sorta need to test them out a bit. If they come out easily it could be good.

Should have specified that. Yes, they do come out relatively easily. Sometimes it takes a little bit of a tug to get them to start coming out but then they come out smoothly.

And yes, they definitely solve the coil spring issue!

I kind of beta tested these for this application. When I first came across these I reached out to the company via Facebook and asked them if it would work for this application. They were unsure of how well it would work with this heavy of line, so they sent them to me to try it for them and give them feedback.

That said, is there interest in this product? Would you buy one for this application?
