Kickr,
We gave the shuttle Hawk a try and I really liked running it. If anyone gives it a try I suggest putting an offshore release on it and a big rubber band around it after putting it on the cable. I put an offshore release on my cable at the depth needed and after letting the ball and main line down I clipped the second line on and sent it down. After putting fish in box the hawk came back up and ready again. Great way to stack lines. ( Take a pole with hook makes it less hassle to bring the clip up to you).
If you only have two riggers on board it is definitely a great tool.
