Another feather in the hat came out this week at the Great Lakes Fishery Commission in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. The meeting comprised of members of Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, and American Indian tribes showing a notable balance in predator/prey ratios, including larger and healthier Chinook in Lake Michigan. In 2017 fall return weights for Kings were 2.3 lbs larger than the long term average and 5.8 lbs higher than 2015. This is some very good news for Wisconsin anglers. This is a work in progress but shows off the tremendous partnership with WLBA and WDNR working together. There is much more in the works so stay tuned, and please note none of this would be happening without you the WLBA members. We all very much appreciate your support and if you have not joined and are looking to please message us today! Check us out on the web at www.wlba-wi.com and note you can now join or update your renewals through paypal on our site.
