So I was thinking about trying to run some slide divers? Looking for some thoughts of all urs... the idea seems good but is it worth the effort??

I use slide diver when the fish are in close and are hitting stickbaits, 50ft or less spring/ fall coho, summer steelhead. Thinfins, thundersticks, j-11/j-13. I run them to add a little depth instead of putting weight or running longer line out on planer boards. 15-20ft is what I run them from diver and on zero setting 20-30ft back. Mike

I have one setup that has never seen the water.  I like the idea of it just never found the opportunity or need for it since we got it on the boat yet.

Always ran. Eliminates need for snubbers (chinook, steelhead) as well as getting lures further behind boat when necesary
