There's a Winthrop Harbor/Waukegon fishing site on Facebook that has some reports. Not as good as Chi-town Angler was but not bad. Seems as though there's a good bite going on for cohos, kings and lakers. Anywhere from a couple three fish per angler to limits. 100 to 200 feet of water, but that's not all that far offshore from those ports. Not sure whether Winnetka is more like those places or Chicago.
The South End provides useful resources and discussion forums for those that fish The South End of Lake Michigan for Salmon, Steelhead, Perch, and Bass as well as elsewhere in the Region and Chicago area.
