I put on goodyear endurance tires d rated. I am sure they will perform better then what i had. Thanks to all that replied.

often over looked is tire balance. the tire and rim are balanced as a set.  a poorly balanced tire will create heat under load and often cause pre mature failures . often the rims need more balance than the tire .   boats hold water as the age and are often heavier. new boat trailer packages are often near capacity before gear and gas go in them couple this with boat flotation holding some water and what was the rite trailer for the boat when it was new is no longer the case
 take the boat and trailer to the local truck stop have you rig weighed with the boat on it and again with out the boat. its the only way to know for sure what the actual weight is and dont use trailer tires on highway that are not properly balanced. With tire and axle loads with in range every one is safer last thing you want to happen is cause a accident on the highway and get yourself or some one else hurt        

I have always had good luck and long life with Goodyear Marathon trailer tires - and I also trailer everywhere. I think some of the Carlisle tires are made in China now...
