I want the toughest 205 75r 14 tire ican put on my trailer. Have had two total blowouts in 3 years with carlisle tires. They had good tread and i maintained tire pressure. They just decided to explode. Want to at least 8 ply because i trailer everywhere. Any suggestions wouldbe appreciated.

What load rating tires were you using?  I cant seem to find your tire on the Carlisle website.  Is it a D14 and not R14?

I think it was rated c. Want to go with a heavy duty tire.

Verify its a C, and I am willing to bet just stepping up to a D would make a good difference, else your probably looking at some different wheels to get a higher rated tire.  Make sure you keep tire pressure somewhere near the max - I usually kept mine at 90% of max or so when I was trailering.  If you have it too low, that sidewall will generate alot of friction, heat, and weakness and go boom.  I learned my lesson a long time ago.

A higher rated tire will probably help the most. It could be your boat is too heavy for the trailer. Is it a single axle? Probably can check the trailer for it's stated load and get the whole rig weighed at a truck stop or a grain elevator. One other thing is to get the trailer wheels balanced. I worked in a shop with a wheel balance machine I could use and it was amazing how much weight was needed on some trailer tires, compared with car or pick-up tires that were always much larger. If it's way out of balance, it could be breaking the internal threads. Most ST (special trailer) tires are not steel belted.

What size boat are you towing? I've used Carlisle for years and it's the tire I ask for on all my trailers except for the trailer for my 26ft Stamas Hardtop fisherman. Had to put 14 ply on that trailer. I recommend using a D rated tire.

I finally figured out I was blowing the same side trailer tires that saw the most amount of sunlight during the day. i have since covered them and have limited tire failures.
