I recently picked up the 100ah Dr Prepare lithium batteries with the lcd gauge. I have a 36v Terrova so i grabbed 3 batteries to put in the Starcraft Fishmaster. The weight difference was measurable and it was nice to get that extra weight out of the bow. My boat, and many Starcraft Fishmaster owners that i talked to have a slight list under power, easily corrected by trimtabs I will add, but it was annoying nonetheless. After removing the AGMs and adding the lithiums i noticed most if not all of that list was gone! No tabs needed. That alone made the switch worth it to me. But it gets better-  I was going 2.5 with the kicker, had the Terrova at 5.5 to 6 setting for 6 hours for navigation. I used only 20% of the battery . On my old AGMs , I would have been just about out of power.

Needless to say I am over the moon with this switch to lithium. From boat handling to runtime it's all positives. Obviously longevity is the only remaining concern. Hopefully I'll update in 8 years when I change these out

I went with Amperetime lifepo4 batteries on my 24v Terrova - on my third season and couldn't be happier. It was like taking a person out of the bow of my boat and the power is amazing. I have a Victron Smart Sense meter with bluetooth that allows me to monitor charge and battery temperature from my phone.
The only problem is I like the spotlock so much that I had to buy a Powerdrive with I-pilot for my bluegill boat - and another lithium battery for it!.
I hope you have good luck with the Dr prepare batteries - I have read mixed reviews - here is a link to the lithium "guru" on the web - this guy does really good teardown videos and buys the batteries himself.

I've seen that review, it's over a year old....I picked up the newer version of that battery with the LCD screen. Everything but the wire mishap looked good about that battery- hopefully that was a one off mistake.

The weight savings and runtimes are amazing on these lithiums- glad you're having a good go with yours.....I think with the prices coming down on these most everybody will be switching to them for trolling .
