Well, I picked up the boat Friday from L&R marine in Shipshewana- did our walk around and signed the papers and finally the boat is mine. First i want to say the guys at L&R are just fantastic, they really go above and beyond.
Saturday, my brother and I, took the boat out to a small lake to get some of the break-in done and to go over all the new gadgets. The new layout by Starcraft was really done well. I'm over the moon with the flat dash, the new captain chair design is nice and the rear livewell is a huge plus.
I have most everything set up- there was a problem with my IS40 gauge, I bought it on Ebay and had no way to test it and it turned out to be a dud. My boat is outfitted with Czone- meaning i could control all the boat functions from my graph and that IS40 crashes it and is not recognized by my network- good news is i have another on the way , it will be here tomorrow and install should take 5 minutes. Everything else worked as it should- I commissioned the Lowrance autopilot, worked out the trollsmarter kicker throttle controller, setup most all of the graph nmea stuff.
I also was able to play with the new Ulterra Quest. Wow, what a beast. I think they really designed this one to last.
The Airmar TM165HW have some real nice returns. The 3d and the 3in1 have some real nice Sidescan images.
Here's a tip too to anyone that wants to run a 3in1 and a 3d transducer- you must pause one when you want to use the other or you will get interference.
This is my first time using suspension seating and I must say I'm pretty impressed with the Airwaves
Also my 72: Traxtech tracks i had added to replace the 48" Berts in the rear fit exactly how i wanted them too.

I'll post a few pics , I'll also post an old dash pic from my last Fishmaster so you can see the difference. You'll see my trollsmarter lurking in there too. Missing until tomorrow is my IS40 but you'll see the space where the cutout is too the right of the steering wheel.
I did forget s few things but they are on order- I forgot the patch cable to tie my Carbon into my Ulterra and Iforgot the Lowrance fuel data manager that ties into my nmea network.

I was running a 21p High 5. That got me 41 mph at 5500 rpm. I have some work to do there. Next I'll be trying a Rev4 17p. I still have a 19 Tempest, a 17 and 19 High 5 to look at too and even a 17 3blade and a 17 4blade aluminum solas. Really wish i had a 17 Enertia , for some reason I think that might be the one but I'm hoping the Rev4 gets it done.

Were you over at EC last weekend?  I saw someone with what looked to be a spankin' new Starcraft over there. It looked good, whomever's it was.
