Here is some information I can share with the public,,,, It is a  great chance for some of our community to help. If your interested but think you may need more information please reach out to Ken. The hatchery # is at the bottom.

The US Fish & Wildlife Service will be tagging and clipping all of our Chinook Salmon, and Coho Salmon From April 8th through April 17th. As a result of the recent  mass federal  Firings, the Fish and Wildlife Service needs volunteers to help clip fish inside the trailer. This is a very unique opportunity to see a part of our Salmon Program that few get to see let alone experience........and we cant cover this with just hatchery staff alone(especially through a weekend). Please let me know if you are interested in any of the dates, or if you know someone who would like to help.

 We got the official news that tagging is back on! We will need two volunteers each day from Tuesday April 8th through Thursday April 17th. Volunteers will need to work a minimum 2 or more days in a row in order to justify the training that will be received on the first day.  I have attached a fill in spreadsheet. Feel free to update this spreadsheet if you want to sign up(or just ask me to do it for you), attach updated spreadsheet and reply all. I just received a call from Mixsawbah. They are still asking for help with fin clipping,,,, time is getting close!
