HCC Port to Port Challenge - Sponsored by Stevens Marine (June 11)

Fun new event guys!  Come on out and fish on Team Portage!  Or Team Mi City.  

• Each port team will combine their best 8 fish (2 of each species - King, Coho, Steelhead, Lake Trout)
• We will work as a team.  We will plan, communicate, and strategize together.  Wonderful fun event for boats of all experience levels.
• Winning port boat captains will get an engraved Yeti Tumbler
• We will combine and weigh our best 8 fish vs. their best 8 fish in MI City
• Afterward there will be a DJ, Free Catered BBQ, and Free Drinks / Bar

This will be a blast - I cant wait to see everyone!

I see a lack of newer anglers signing up.   I tell ya what, for the newer anglers this is the single best opportunity to meet people and drastically improve your skills on LM.  You can elect to do your own thing, we can develop a plan for you, or you can ghost one of us.  For the most part myself and Bill (pirate) will be running portage team.    For guys who want to do their own thing - that's fine do what you want to do.  For guys that are in search of guidance, we will put you in a situation to excel.

I'll say that's exactly why I joined HCC and signed up for the tournament. This is my first season in Marina Shores, and for the last couple years we have done alright, but never great out of Hammond.  Looking forward to picking up some tips, and put some faces to names.  So far the family is happy at Portage, so if we stick around permanently it would be nice to know some more people there.
