Fished Lake Erie Wednesday, Thursday and Friday on a charter. We limited out the 1st 2 days (24/day) and 16 on last day.
Used 3/4 and 1 oz jigs on reefs in western basin. Lake had 3 to 5 foot waves on Thursday and Friday, rough fishing. The 12 mile trip back to West Harbor was rough especially on Friday with the northeast winds. Wave peaks were close together. A number of waves broke over the the Sport Craft cabin. A lot of Lake Erie is still muddy and the Maume River very muddy

On Wednesday and Thursday a large tournament was held out of Huron Ohio. I never saw so many Ranger boats with new trucks. We were in a 30 foot Sport Craft and glad we were not in 1 of those 20 to 21 foot Ranger Boats. A number of these boats drove 30- 35 miles one way from Huron Ohio to fish the reefs in western basis. Following is a link showing results of the tournament.

Good reports on Erie if you can get around the dang weather.
Were heading over for our yearly trip the last 4 days of the month
to jig the reefs on the Western side and the cans.

Congrats on your fish.
