Anyone familiar with fish lake located just a little south east of Laporte. Thinking about heading out there on Sunday to try for some crappie. Talked to a delivery driver at work yesterday that said they were in shallow and hitting good on minnows under a bobber. looks like the big lake is gonna be a little rough this weekend and I want to get out somewhere lol

Figure it is to late for your trip but I have fished there twice and never did very good but that is me. I don't fish there anymore because the launch is pretty rough with no dock so I personally will not bring the bigger boat out there. I know some people used to do good on the lake but have not really talked to anyone in the last couple years who fish it.
