TOPIC:

Fished 6 days last week, Sunday- Friday, 108 walleye off of North Bass Island on east side on border. Took limits 5 of the 6 days trolling worm harnesses from 15 to 30 feet in 35 feet using 1 downrigger and large planer board & 3 ounce bottom bouncers. Most fish 17 to 22 inches about a dozen 24 to 27 inches, speed 1.7 SOG, slower speeds only sheephead & catfish. Only 2 perch for the week; normally we would catch 6 to 8 keepers per day while trolling. First year in a long time we stayed in Ohio waters when fishing in July: as most know Erie is loaded.
