The 1 st 5 days the rivers were high and dark we did not fish.. Last Wednesday fished below Tippy Dam, current was fast and river higher then normal and number of fish same as recent years. Thursday thru Sunday fished the PM at the Forks, Taylor road, the Wheel (Baldwin river) and Claybanks, again the current was fast and difficult to wade, however river levels were dropping and clearing up. We were averaging 1 hookup per hour. Saturday the PM was packed , over 50 cars & trucks at Green Cottage, lots of campers at Claybanks, parking lots were full, and many parking outside the parking lots. Made it down the stairs at Claybanks Saturday afternoon, the river was full with people. Lots of fish and watching was a lot of fun. Many boats of all types floating the river. Many people having a blast, saw many 4 to 10 hookups at same time.
