Leaving early tomorrow for our week long Lake Erie trip. Hope to find some eyes and other fun to catch fish. Staying at Put-in-bay so it will be guaranteed fun. Hopefully I'll have some pics to share!! I need to remember to put my garage door up before driving off. Lol

I forgot to put my garage door down a couple weekends ago being to excited to get on the road and had to turn around about 5 miles down the road but forgetting to put it up is much more painful. Good Luck on the fishing, I know they have been doing really well in St Clare and the river on the Michigan side.

Had a great trip and caught a LOT of fish! For every keeper we caught a few shorts. Didn't catch many Drum or White Bass which is fine. Had a couple limit days and some rough water days where we were just happy to catch some fish. Wednesday we passed on early fishing because it was nasty rough. Went to town for breakfast then played 9 holes. After golf the lake seemed to lay down a bit so we headed out to get a 4 man limit. Great time!

Jums,

I just read your post when I returned from the trip. Cell / internet coverage was spotty at best around there. I have no idea what radio channel people use there and honestly didn't even turn mine on. Hope you got a lot of fish!!

I think they use channel 69. Where did you guys launch out of? Did you actually ferry the boat over to Put-in-bay or launch off main land and boat ride out there?

We ferry out and stay on the Island. Gives us more options when it's rough. It costs $136 to get the truck, boat and two guys round trip on the ferry. Plus Put-in-bay is a fun place at night.
