Nice trip Tim. We used to fish Indian Lake out of Vermillion Bay are and I think that there was water that connceted to clay lake. I saw a father and son that was fishing clay lake from shore in 1970 that had walleyes that were all pigs. They had them in the front end of a little VW. Beautiful area. Check your map Tim for a small town called quibell, spelling might be off should be close prox. to clay. We fished a lake there that the road split. It was jammed with hammer handles, big perch, and walleye.

It was a blast. Ed your right about the town. There are a ton of lakes around there. We were lucky enough to squeeze into Carter Lake also, that was a real gem.
