Going for a week stay with family on Big Manistique Lake. Any fishing info would be appreciated. (Walleye, bass ,perch) Thanks.

Been along time since I fished there with my wife. but we had good perch fishing and a few walleye. Dunking minnows worked best seemed like the 16-20ft. areas off points worked best. Good luck its a pretty lake.

I haven't fished up there since 2013. But it was pretty good for walleye back then. There are 2 or 3 bars that seem to concentrate walleye on or around the drops. The biggest one is called Anderson bar I believe. Most were trolling or drifting harnesses over them back then. Crawlers, minnows or leeches. The bait shops in Curtis can usually tell you what has been working best. Like Lickety-split said it's a beautiful lake. Enjoy.

Never fished it myself but the smallie fishing can be good at times also. Walleye fishing the past couple years has been good from what I have heard also. The area is Beautiful like the others have said. Enjoy.

Just got back on Saturday. Fishing was good early but the weather was unstable and fishing went downhill. Had a great time. Did a tour of Picture Rocks in Munising. A must see.

Was just having a convo about pictured rocks with my co-worker the other day. Would love to check that area out some time.
